This is one of my favorite parts of science. The only thing that I did not like about teaching this area was correcting science text books that constantly reffered to compound and complex machines as simple machines. Simple machines are almost never used alone. Even a screw is a wedge wrapped in an inclined plane.....My thoughts: Nothing in life is really all that simple!
