What a wonderful day we have together in fourth grade. We started with an assembly that relates to our theme - Around the World in 180 Days!! We watched a beautiful slide presentation and listened to fascinating stories by Bruce Junek who, with his wife,
bicycled around the world for two years!
Make sure you ask your child about the beautiful photographs that they saw.
Please send in all supplies as soon as possible. Each child is also asked to bring in a water bottle and a healthy snack daily. We look forward to a grand year! Let the adventure begin.

I heard on ABC that the tropical storm Fay might turn into a hurricane. On TV, they said that they were closing down all Duval County schools for Wednesday and Thursday. Chets Creek is one of the Duval County schools so we have two days off of school. See you on Fun Friday!
